Nice place with great amenities like free wi-fi, a bar/lounge area, and 24-hour reception. The staff helped with restaurant recommendations during my first stay. Highly recommend for a cozy stay!

As a new hotel, the hotel was very clean with new furniture and great 50s design. All hotel staff were very friendly and cooperative. I recall Moud and jakleen however all of them were nice.
Since the hotel judged opened recently of course there are few items were missing but can not be considered major.

The location is good, albeit in what I would describe currently as a 'regeneration area' with lots of building work all around. Metro within easy walking distance, as is the Seine. Lots of cafes in the area and a great little local boulangerie for fantastic croissants and cafe au lait for breakfast, plus great cakes and sandwiches. Well sound proofed rooms, very comfortable beds. Some of the staff were incredibly helpful and it is worth asking for restaurant recommendations and booking.
Rooms are tiny and the decor is very dark. Numerous housekeeping issues - towels and toiletries not replenished, aircon not working and staff didn't know how to work it. Hammam not finished and not open. Could use a bar in the lobby. Early days for this hotel as it has opened with much of the work unfinished.

Would recommend for a flash visit
Friendly staff, clean rooms, with a fantastic location just 500 meters from the metro, providing easy access to explore the city and enjoy nearby shops and restaurants.
Can't fault the hotel in any way.

Nice decor
Building site opposite hotel. Rooms small (even delux) category. Hotel had just opened and did not seem fully operational. Had a few small housekeeping issues but put it down to new hotel and staff need training. Not really suitable for business, WiFi slow and no working desk.

Cotton sheets on bed - only ones in France Marilyn Monroe theme was cute
Room was billed as deluxe but was barely big enough to hold bed. Whirlpool tube was too narrow to enjoy. Jets were only on bottom. Rooms and hallway walls were painted black. Hallway carpets were black and construction tape yellow. You will only like this hotel if these are your favorite colors. Hotel was open while still under construction.

Apart from the convenient location, the best thing about the Platine Hotel is the staff: Maude, Delphine and the nice young man who extended our stay. Compliments to the owners for having such competent and courteous employees.
We wanted to stay in a particular area in Paris, and none of our regular hotels were available, so we chose the Platine. This hotel is kitsch and perfect for those that love Hollywood, the 50's and Marilyn Monroe. However, it is not finished as of this writing; workmen and dust are part of the small lobby. The hotel opened 2 days before our stay and there were several things to improve on, such as not enough staff on the evening shift; two separate nights we had to wait outside, along with other guests, until someone came to unlock the front door. The hotel also needs to be more generous with amenities... we received just one little bar of soap and one tiny shampoo for a 4-day stay. Another problem had to do with wireless communication... connections were crossed using cell phones, getting strange parties instead of the person intended. Undoubtedly, these issues will be resolved as the hotel nears completion, but I cannot recommend Platine to anyone as it is now.

This is a newly built hotel with a "50's Film Set " theme and it was by pure chance I stayed here. It's a little quirky, but fun, and room facilities were good, great shower very comfortable bed and clean. Only 100m from Charles Michel Metro and loads of local cafe's and restaurants with easy metro access to all of Paris sights. Staff were very helpful and 15euro breakfast was good and in line with what you would get in Paris.
Large office building development nearby, might put some people off, but there was no noise and the hotel benefits out weigh this short term problem.

This lovely boutique hotel is just a short walk to a major shopping mall and the Eiffel Tower. The Prestige Double Room was clean, comfortable, and had a nice bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. While the breakfast offered a fair selection, options for dining nearby were limited. Despite a well-decorated environment, the rooms were a bit small and could benefit from additional dining choices in the immediate area.

I thoroughly enjoyed the lovely welcoming hotel.
The room was a nice size and themed with balcony, ideal for me. Its location in Paris was perfect, short walk to the Eiffel Tower, cafes and shopping mall, major sights and cafes and bars...

Recommend it for couples looking for a unique experience
We had the superior room with the biggest circle bed you've ever seen! The staff did everything possible to meet any request quickly and efficiently, even making my wife's birthday extra special with decorations in our room!
It wasn't cheap but worth every penny for the experience.

The hotel was luxury, I thoroughly enjoyed themed rooms and flexible stuff.
The location was difficult to find, it's a pitty.

The hotel's design was amazing ! The spa was included in the price, which I didn't know about till I came to the hotel (so it was a great surprise).
The rooms are very small. There was a small fridge in a room with little bottles of alcohol and you had to pay for them. I think that for the price paid you should of have it for free.
